WE CLAIM:
1. A method (700) for creating a configuration management (CM) recipe, the
method (700) comprising:
5 providing (702), by an interfacing unit (212), a plurality of recipe
creation options to a user, wherein the plurality of recipe creation options
comprises at least one or more of a bulk upload option, a manual creation
option, and a parsing rules option;
receiving (704), by the interfacing unit (212), at least one recipe
10 creation option selected by the user;
receiving (706), by the interfacing unit (212), one or more inputs
corresponding to one or more configuration parameters corresponding to the
at least one selected recipe creation option by the user; and
creating (708), by a processing unit (214), the CM recipe based on the
15 received one or more inputs corresponding to the one or more configuration
parameters.
2. The method (700) as claimed in claim 1 further comprising:
displaying, by the interfacing unit (212), the created CM recipe on a
recipe listing page.
20 3. The method (700) as claimed in claim 1 further comprising:
receiving, by the interfacing unit (212), at least one operation to be
performed on the created CM recipe from the user, wherein the at least one

operation comprises download, delete, set as default, and remove as default;
and
performing, by the processing unit (214), the at least one received
operation on the created CM recipe.
5 4. The method (700) as claimed in claim 1, further comprising:
generating, upon receiving the selection of the bulk upload option
from the user, by the processing unit (214), a template having one header
corresponding to each of the one or more configuration parameters to be
downloaded and filled by the user;
10 uploading, by the interfacing unit (212), a filled template having at
least one value in each header corresponding to each of the one or more
configuration parameters filled by the user; and
processing, by the processing unit (214), the filled template to
