Bolt Extracting Tool Using Screw Method

Abstract: Abstract This was done by Implementing pull methodology in too|.(5) which extracts the bolts from the stmcture or mount, whgre it is necessary to safeguard the structure and -a|so the bolt. An easy—out type bolt extractor tool (5) is combination tool wherein an extractor is combined with a holding head. The holding and extracting operation is performed during the same process. The bolt extractor tool (5) is slide-able through the center axis of the outer sleeve _ shaft (1) with the help of a shrew rod (3) enabling the inner sleeve (1) to hcild firmly the bolt atone end and pulling using screw rod (3) while rotating the screw rod in clockwise direction. A suitable holding size of bolt extractortool (5) to be designed so that the extraction will be seamless. Also, the length of the inner sleeve to be of the length of the belt extraction length.

Hold the tool structure firmly around the bolt and inner sleeve (1’)
having plurality of shape at one end for holding the bolt (6) from its
collar and other end connected to screw rod (3) for pulling/extracting.
15 3.‘ An easy-out type bolt extractor tool (5) claimed in claim 1 and 2 for
extraction of palatially threaded bolts from Shiite extraction space and
mounted in tight fit position. The bolt can be removed by applying axial
force and 'pulling the bo|t from the collar without damaging the bolt and
structure on which it is fixed.
20 4. ‘Plurality in Modification of the tool said in claim 1 and 2 can be done
to extract any size bolt with a different tool size requirements
.depending on bolt shape and bolt collar size. The tool is using the
support from its _own design (External Sleeve (4) and the structure on
which the bolt is mounted, without affecting the bolt and structure.

25 Extraction is done by tightening the s Crewing rod (3) after holding the
bolt from its collar.
