Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a packaging apparatus and method for packaging one or more articles. The packaging comprises a bottom panel of a packaging container (100) to receive the one or more articles; a plurality of blanks (100p, 100q, 100r, 100s) connected by edges to the bottom panel in order to confine the one or more articles; a flute member (100F) being fixedly disposed on at least one inner surface of one of the plurality of blanks (100p, 100q, 100r, 100s) such that the flute member (100F) forming an integral part; and one or more portions (102) of the plurality of panels (100p, 100q, 100r, 100s) are locked together to form a single opening flap of the packaging container (100).
