Abstract: This laminate (1) comprises a base material (2) and a heat seal layer (3). The heat seal layer (3) is a dried article of a coating composition. The coating composition contains a resin component comprising a copolymer of 4-methyl-1-pentene and an a-olefin (excluding 4-methyl-1-pentene) and/or a modified form of the copolymer. In the copolymer, the content ratio for constituent units derived from 4-methyl-1-pentene is 50-99 mol% inclusive, and the content ratio for constituent units derived from the a-olefin is 1-50 mol% inclusive, relative to the total amount of constituent units derived from 4-methyl-1-pentene and constituent units derived from the a-olefin. The oxygen transmission coefficient and the carbon dioxide transmission coefficient of the laminate are each 1000 cm3·mm/(m2·24hr·atm) or greater.
