Method And Apparatus For Cell Activation Or Deactivation

Abstract: Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a method and apparatus for cell activation or deactivation. The method comprises: a terminal device receiving a cell change command sent by a network device; and according to a condition related to cell activation or deactivation, the terminal device activating or deactivating a cell indicated by or associated with the cell change command. According to the embodiments of the present application, after receiving a cell change command or after receiving an (enhanced) SCell activation or deactivation MAC CE, a terminal device activates or deactivates a cell, which is indicated by or associated with a cell change command, according to an activated or deactivated state of a cell configured by means of RRC signaling, or according to an activated or deactivated state of a cell group where a cell configured by means of RRC signaling is located, or according to a deactivation timer, such that the activated/deactivated state of the cell can be determined.
