Abstract: This electronic device comprises: a resin case body having a rectangular opening into which a circuit board is inserted; and a cover to close the opening in the case body. The case body includes a perimeter wall part having a rectangular cross section and forming the opening by means of a pair of first side wall parts facing both surfaces of the circuit board and a pair of second side wall parts connected to the pair of first side wall parts. The perimeter wall part has a pair of first fitting parts provided in a first-side-wall-part area of the annular end face on the opening side, and the cover has a pair of second fitting parts that are press-fitted into the pair of first fitting parts of the case body. Connecting portions between the first side wall parts and the second side wall parts in the perimeter wall part have a recessed part on the inner wall surface side, so as to be thinner than the first side wall parts and the second side wall parts.
