Aqueous Lubricant Composition

Abstract: One aspect of the present invention relates to an aqueous lubricant composition. The aqueous lubricant composition contains: a graft-modified ethylene-a-olefin copolymer (X) that has a main chain portion derived from an ethylene-a-olefin copolymer (A) and a graft portion derived from an unsaturated monomer (B), the ethylene-a-olefin copolymer (A) having an ethylene unit content of 30-70 mol% and an Mw determined by GPC of 1,500-30,000 and showing no Tm when measured by DSC, and the unsaturated monomer (B) being at least one unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer selected from the group consisting of an unsaturated carboxylic acid having 3-10 carbon atoms and a derivative thereof; an amine compound (Y) having one or more hydroxyl groups per molecule; at least one silicone oil (Z) selected from the group consisting of an alkyl-modified silicone oil and an alkyl/aralkyl-modified silicone oil; water; and a surfactant.
