Abstract: Provided are: a toxicity evaluation device comprising a processor; a method for operating the toxicity evaluation device; and a program for operating the toxicity evaluation device. The processor executes: a data acquisition process for acquiring test substance data representing a test substance; a prediction process for predicting, on the basis of the test substance data, a metabolic reaction pathway of the test substance and metabolic products generated in the metabolic reaction pathway; an evaluation process for evaluating the toxicity of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of the test substance and the metabolic products and acquiring an evaluation result; and an output process for outputting a process result including the evaluation result. In the prediction process, the processor predicts the metabolic reaction pathway on the basis of the test substance data and rule data representing a rule under which the metabolic reaction progresses, and the rule data includes a suitable rule suitable for an in vitro toxicity evaluation test.
