Abstract: A press-in method according to the present invention has a gripping step, a position measurement step for measuring the position of a pile on an objective coordinate system using a measurement management device that is disposed away from a press-in machine, a command generation step for using first position information for the pile on the objective coordinate system measured at the position measurement step and second position information about the position of a chuck on a subjective coordinate system that is based on the advancement direction of a saddle of the press-in machine to generate a command related to an operation of the press-in machine for moving the pile to a target position, a positioning step for moving the pile to the target position, and a press-in step for pressing the pile into the ground.
