Abstract: The invention relates to an isolated set of gene transcripts (A) from a set of genes consisting of a subset of genes (1) consisting of ADM, AXL, BIRC5, CDV3, CRIM1, CTGF, CYR61, FSTL1, GADD45A, KRT8, LMNB2, MATN2, PKP4, RND3, RPS24, SEC14L1, SGK1, SLC25A3, SLC3A2, TNFRSF12A, TPM1, TPX2, TUBB6 and of a subset of genes (2) consisting of CTSB, FTH1, SQSTM1, TCF25, UBC, or an isolated set of genes (B) consisting of at least one gene transcript from a set of genes consisting of DLC1, AKAP2, CANX, SAFB2, EIF4H, NDUFS5, SEPT9, and EIF4A1, and their use in diagnostic methods for TEAD-active cancer.
