Abstract: The present invention relates to a vacuum pump (1) comprising a projector (7) configured to project at least one piece of information associated with an operating variable of the vacuum pump (1) onto a wall of a protective cover (3) on the front face of the vacuum pump (1) or on a surface in the surroundings of the vacuum pump (1), in particular on the floor.
