Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a refrigeration unit (100). The refrigeration unit (100) includes a first refrigeration cycle (101) to cool a first compartment and a second refrigeration cycle (105) to cool a second compartment. The first refrigeration cycle (101) includes a first evaporator (110) adapted to remove heat from the first compartment and a defrost loop (103) to supply heat to the first evaporator (110). The second refrigeration cycle (105) includes a second capillary device (114) fluidically connected to the defrost loop (103) and a second evaporator (116) adapted to remove heat from the second compartment of the refrigeration unit (100). The compressor (102) is adapted to circulate the refrigerant into at least one of the first refrigeration cycle (101), the second refrigeration cycle (105) and the defrost loop (103). <>
Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present disclosure generally relates to a refrigeration unit, and more particularly, the present disclosure relates to refrigerators adapted for simultaneous cooling and defrosting operations.
BACKGROUND
The information in this section merely provides background information related to the present disclosure and may not constitute prior art(s) for the present disclosure.
A refrigerating unit such as a refrigerator is a home appliance adapted for storing food in low temperatures. Generally, the refrigerator may include a refrigerator compartment for storing food in a refrigerated state and a freezer compartment for storing food in a frozen state. The refrigerator compartment may be maintained in a predetermined temperature range suitable for storing food items. Modern refrigerating units are usually equipped with heat exchangers that cool the ambient air and circulates through the different compartments to maintain a preset temperature. The freezer compartment is maintained in a , C , Claims:WE CLAIM:
1. A refrigeration unit (100) comprising:
a first refrigeration cycle (101) adapted to cool a first compartment of the refrigeration unit (100), the first refrigeration cycle (101) comprising:
a first evaporator (110) adapted to remove heat from the first compartment of the refrigeration unit (100);
a compressor (102) fluidically connected with the first evaporator (110) and adapted to compress a refrigerant received from the first evaporator (110);
a defrost loop (103) adapted to supply heat to the first evaporator (110) by circulating the compressed refrigerant to the first evaporator (110),
a second refrigeration cycle (105) adapted to cool a second compartment of the refrigeration unit (100), the second refrigeration cycle (105) comprising:
a second capillary device (114) fluidically connected to the defrost loop (103) in the first refrigeration cycle (101) and adapted to receive the refrigerant from the first evaporator (110); and
a second evaporator (116) fluidically connected to the second
