A Tamper Evident Closure For A Container

Abstract: ABSTRACT “A TAMPER EVIDENT CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER” A tamper evident closure (100) for a container (200) is disclosed. The tamper evident closure (100) comprises a first portion (110) configured to engage and seal an opening of the container (200). A second portion (120) is configured to remain 5 secured to the container (200). The second portion (120) includes at least one securing member (122) to resist unintended removal of the second portion (120). At least one tamper-evident element (130) is positioned between the first portion (110) and the second portion (120). The closure (100) further includes at least one frangible connection (132) between at least one of the first portion (110), the second 10 portion (120), and the at least one tamper-evident element (130). Further, at least one first tethering element (140) is adapted to connect the tamper evident element (130) to the first portion (110) and the second portion (120) of the closure (100). [FIG. 1]
