Abstract: Abstract of the Invention In the past years, warranty management systems have been entrenched in inefficiency and error and have operated without much transparency, translating sub-optimally both to businesses and end consumers. This assembly discloses a blockchain-based digital system for warranty management that automates, secures, and streamlines the entire lifecycle of warranties. The system runs on a private Hyperledger Fabric network with smart contracts. These perform key functions, such as product registration, warranty claim validation, and warranty expiration. These smart contracts eliminate the need for intervention of humans, thus cutting down on errors and improving operational efficiencies. A Node.js SDK API enables vendor-consumer interaction with the system, providing secure, seamless communication for exchange of data. To ensure trust and security, the system employs a Certificate Authority (CA) to issue unique digital identities to all participants in the system, guaranteeing and enhancing the authenticated and tamper-proof interaction. Each transaction is recorded in a chronological order in an immutable blockchain ledger maintained by the Orderer Service, ensuring transparency, tamper-proof data storage, and accessibility for authorized users. With Docker containers, both scalability and compatibility are achieved as they provide consistent deployment across environments. The API-driven architecture allows integration with enterprise systems that include ERP and CRM, and as such, provides a platform for affordably migrating businesses into the new solution. This innovative system of warranty management through blockchain would revolutionize the warranty management systems by being stronger, faster, and more transparent than any systems before. It also automates crucial processes while ensuring integrity, security, and trust for the end-user applying such a robust warranty management system.
Description:Description:
WaranteeX is an extended digital warranty management system implemented on blockchain technology to eliminate the existing problems with the advantages of traditional warranty systems. In this way, WaranteeX guarantees the integrity and inviolability of warranty records by using blockchain technology. Smart contracts are used in the system to make warranty claim registration, validation, and expiration mostly automated and free from human interference. WaranteeX is an implementation of Hyperledger Fabric and features a modular architecture that allows vendors and consumers to interact seamlessly through a Node.js SDK API. IoT integration enables the ability to maintain products before there is a problem, as the health of the product is constantly being monitored. Security is provided by digital IDs from a CA, which makes the transactions authentic. Moreover, Docker-based deployment guarantees performance stability, while the Orderer Service remains transparent and has an unalterable record. When integrated through APIs, WaranteeX can easily integrate with ERP and CRM systems, providing businesses with a solid, effective, and easy-to-use warranty management tool.
1. In the first phase, a consumer-friendly web portal and mobile app will be developed to enable warranty activation, claims initiation, and real-time status tracking. Simultaneously, vendor peers in the blockchain network will be set up to facilitate warranty-related transactions.
2. In the second phase, secure digital identities will be distributed to consumers, allowing safe interaction with the blockchain. Vendors will deploy smart contracts to automate warranty registration, claim initiation, and expiration notifications.
3. In the third phase, consumers will register their products and initiate claims through smart contracts. Vendors will implement structured processes to register product warranties, assigning unique identification numbers for accurate tracking and reconciliation.
4. In the fourth phase, real-time warranty tracking will be enabled for consumers, providing instant access to warranty status and claim alerts. IoT integration will offer predictive maintenance and automate data synchronization between WaranteeX and vendor ERP/CRM systems.
5. In the fifth phase, a feedback mechanism will be established, allowing consumers to report issues and offer suggestions. Vendors will gain access to analytical tools that track claims, identify trends, and enhance product performance and customer experience.
6. In the sixth phase, the focus will be on large-scale production, induction, and expansion of the blockchain network to onboard new products, customers, and vendors. Regulatory compliance will be maintained through immutable blockchain records, ensuring seamless growth and system-wide integration.
, C , Claims:1. A system that offers actionable warranty extension promotions leveraging connected device data in real-time to enhance consumer confidence, improve sales for vendors, and maintain consistent warranty premiums.
2. A system that enables vendors to dynamically adjust warranty offers based on Blockchain-validated data to remain competitive in different product categories or geographical markets.
3. A system that makes product warranties transferable and usable by individuals or groups, improving product satisfaction and usability.
4. A smart warranty management system that tackles conflicts of interest in warranty claims through Blockchain-based programmed issue resolution and enhances consumer trust.
5. A system to detect fraudulent warranty claims using a combination of AI and Blockchain technology, ensuring better service quality.
6. A system that incentivizes customers to maintain their products properly by logging rewards on Blockchain for timely servicing or updates, encouraging responsible product use.
7. As claimed in claims 1 to 3, the system integrates IoT data and wearable device inputs to track product performance and usage in real-time, offering extended warranties for well-maintained products
