Copper Alloy Powder For A Powder Metallurgical Process

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses copper alloy powder for a powder metallurgical process. The copper alloy powder includes composition of, manganese (Mn) in a range of 10 to 70 wt.%, chromium (Cr) not more than 1.5 wt.%, silicon (Si) in a range of 0.01 to 20 wt.%, boron (B) in a range of 0.01 to 1 wt.%, nitrogen (N) not more than 0.3 wt.%, oxygen (O) not more than 0.3 wt.%, and balance being copper (Cu) along with incidental elements. An average particle size of the copper alloy powder is not more than 150 microns. The copper alloy powder disclosed in the present disclosure has a melting temperature in a range of 900°C to 980°C.
