Abstract: ABSTRACT MONOLITHIC SINGLE LASER BEAM MAGNETO-OPTICAL TRAP BASED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING, TRAPPING COLD ATOMS The present invention discloses a monolithic single laser beam magneto-optical trap (MOT) based system and method (400) for generating and trapping cold atoms. Initially, a monolithic single light beam (204) is generated from narrow linewidth light source (202).
