Abstract: The present invention concerns a method for preparing a positive electrode active material, comprising the steps of: - providing a powder material comprising Li and having a Ni content of at least 60.0 mol% onto a support (2) at a first location (12) of a production line (1); and - contacting the powder material on the support (2) with an aqueous solution to form a wet powder material at a second location (13) of the production line (1), the method being characterized in that it includes a step of continuously moving the support (2) along a direction from the first location (12) to the second location (13).
