Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for extracting xyloglucan contained in the primary walls of plant cells, and more particularly of dicotyledonous plants. In particular, the method according to the present invention comprises a relatively limited number of steps and uses chemical compounds with low human and environmental toxicity.
