Lithium Nickel Based Composite Oxide As A Positive Electrode Active Material For Sulfide Solid State Rechargeable Batteries

Abstract: The present invention relates a positive electrode active material for solid state batteries comprising Li, M' and O, wherein M' comprises Si and/or Zr. The present inventors have surprisingly found that the positive electrode active material of the invention increases the cycling efficiency of the battery, in particular a sulfide solid-state battery. Moreover, these coated positive electrode active material display a high first discharge capacity.
