Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a solution for buffer status report (BSR) enhancements. In this solution, a terminal device transmits, to a network device, delay information for at least one buffered data packet, the delay information indicating at least one of the following: a reference time related to buffering of the at least one data packet, a first time interval between an arrival time of the at least one data packet and a time when a BSR is transmitted, a first result of a delay budget for the at least one data packet minus the first time interval, a second time interval between the arrival time of the at least one data packet and a time when a resource for transmission of the BSR is granted, or a second result of the delay budget for the at least one data packet minus the second time interval.
