Improving The Power Of Thermodynamic Machines

Abstract: The invention relates to a device comprising a first thermodynamic vapour-compression machine having a refrigerant and a second thermodynamic flow machine having a heat-transfer fluid. The first machine comprises a compressor (5), a condenser (2), an expansion valve (6) and an evaporator (7) which together define, with the refrigerant, for the first machine, a thermal power to be exchanged with the heat-transfer fluid. The second machine comprises a fluid circulator (1) configured to feed the heat-transfer fluid into the second machine in thermal contact with the refrigerant. The fluid circulator (1) is dimensioned so as to be able to deliver the heat-transfer fluid at a maximum flow rate greater than one hundred and twenty percent of the nominal flow rate. The first machine comprises a first pipe with a first cross-sectional widening (3) between the compressor (5) and the condenser (2) and a second cross-sectional widening (4) between the condenser (2) and the expansion valve (6).
