Drive Source For Saddle Type Vehicle
Abstract: The present invention provides a drive source for a saddle type vehicle, which is capable of effectively cooling an inverter with a simple and inexpensive configuration. This drive source for a saddle type vehicle is a drive source (2) that is installed in a saddle type vehicle (1) and outputs driving force for traveling. The drive source (2) includes, in order from above, a battery (3), an inverter (4), and a motor (5). The battery (3) and the inverter (4), and the inverter (4) and the motor (5), at least partially overlap in a vertical direction. The inverter (4) is provided with a protrusion (9) that protrudes beyond the motor (5) in a horizontal direction, at a position of coming into direct contact with travel wind.
