Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices and methods of communication. In one aspect, upon determination that a subsequent CPAC is performed, a terminal device determines whether a bearer type for a DRB is changed for the subsequent CPAC. If the bearer type is changed, the terminal device performs L2 handling. In this way, during a subsequent CPAC, a terminal device may perform the L2 handling in case of a bearer type change without an explicit indication from a network. Thus, loss-less may be supported for AM DRBs.
