Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for a food container and a method for manufacturing a food container by using same and, more specifically, to a composition for a food container and a method for manufacturing a food container by using same, wherein the composition comprises zeolite, an antibacterial additive, and a porous adsorption powder to adsorb and remove ethylene gas, carbonic acid gas, and the like generated by respiration of vegetables and fruits and to prevent the decay caused by microorganisms through an antibacterial action, thereby keeping vegetables and fruits fresh for a long time.
