Intake Control Device

Abstract: Provided is an intake control device (1) capable of satisfactorily cooling a motor (7). The intake control device (1) comprises: a body (4) having an intake passage wall (3) for partitioning an intake passage (2) inside; a throttle valve (5) for opening and closing the intake passage; and a throttle shaft (6) connected to the throttle valve and rotatably supported by the body, wherein the motor (7) for rotating the throttle shaft is disposed in a motor case (10) integrally formed with the body. The intake control device (1) is characterized in that a part of the motor case also serves as a part of the intake passage wall in a first cross-section perpendicular to the axis of the throttle shaft and passing through the center of the throttle valve, and at least a part of the motor is disposed upstream of a motor-side end of the throttle valve when the valve is closed.
