Abstract: A BATTERY MODULE FOR AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE Abstract Present invention relates to a battery module (1) for an electric vehicle (100), including a battery housing (2) having at least one battery cell. The battery housing is insertable along a battery case (101) of the electric vehicle. The battery module includes a first 5 connector (4), electrically coupled to the at least one battery cell and includes a coupler body (5) and a retention unit (7). The coupler body is movably connected to the battery housing (2) and is configured to electrically couple with a second connector (6) secured in the battery case. A retention unit (7) is positioned between the coupler body (5) and the battery housing and is configured to bias the coupler body (5) towards the second 10 connector (6) to maintain electrical coupling. With such configuration, vibrations, and undulations in the battery module are mitigated from transferring to the first connector (4) and the second connector (6). Figures 4, 6A and 6B.
