A Battery Module For An Electric Vehicle

Abstract: A BATTERY MODULE FOR AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE Abstract Present disclosure discloses a battery module for an electric vehicle, which includes battery housing having a first receiving portion to receive and accommodate at least a portion of the first connector. The battery housing also includes at least one guideway, defined along the first receiving portion, to allow the first connector to be operable 5 between the connected condition and the disconnected condition. Further, the coupler body is defined with at least one guide protrusion, which is engageable with at least a portion of the at least one guideway, to linearly displace between the connected condition and the disconnected condition. The first connector is positioned in the battery housing and is manually displaced from the disconnected condition to the connected 10 condition, to engage with the second connector. With that, the at least one guideway reduces efforts required to manually displacing the first connector between the connected condition and the disconnected condition. Figures 4 and 5.
