A Bushing Tap Device

Abstract: A bushing tap device, connectable to a bushing tap assembly for online monitoring of a transformer bushing, said device comprising a brass stud arranged in a brass cap, with one end of said brass stud connected to a cable for onward connection to a remote ground and the other end provided with a hole for receiving a test tap when said device is connected to the bushing tap assembly, thereby isolating said test tap from the immediate ground.
