A Catalyst Composition, Process Of Preparation And Application Thereof

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a catalyst composition comprising zeolite and binder. The catalyst composition of the present disclosure has enhanced catalytic activity with improved stability and longer shelf life when compared to the catalyst composition available in the art. The said catalyst composition avoids the generation of solid waste when employed in the cracking process, as the catalyst composition can be effective regenerated. The catalyst composition significantly reduces the olefin contaminant from hydrocarbon stream when the hydrocarbon carbon stream is subjected to the catalyst composition.

1. A catalyst composition comprising zeolite and binder, wherein weight ratio of the zeolite to the binder is ranging from about 95:5 to 5:95.

2. The catalyst composition as claimed in claim 1, comprises the zeolite and the binder at a weight ratio of about 70:30.

3. The catalyst composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the zeolite has a molar expression of aMO2: bY2O3, wherein M is selected from group IVA element and Y is selected from group IIIA element, wherein ‘a’ is in ranging from 1
