Specification

Claims:1. A composition comprising:
a. Ficus carica fruit extract; and
b. Nymphaea alba flower extract;
wherein Ficus carica fruit extract to Nymphaea alba flower extract w/w ratio in said composition is in the range of 1:3.33-1:30.

2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, further comprises suitable carriers, diluents, and excipients.

3. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-2, wherein and Ficus carica fruit extract weight concentration in said composition is in the range of 5-15 ppm, and Nymphaea alba flower extract weight concentration in said composition is in the range of 50-150 ppm.

4. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-2, wherein Ficus carica fruit extract to Nymphaea alba flower extract w/w ratio in said composition is 1:10.

5. The composition as claimed in claim 4, wherein Ficus carica fruit extract weight concentration in said composition is 10 ppm, and Nymphaea alba flower extract weight concentration in said composition is 100 ppm.

6. A method of preparing a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-5.

7. A method of epidermal wound closure, said method comprising:
a. obtaining a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-5; and
b. contacting said composition with site of epidermal wound,
wherein said method promotes epidermal wound closure.
8. A composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-5 for use in preparing topical formulations for promoting epithelial wound closure.
