Claims:1. A composition for cosmetic inhibition of skin aging, said composition comprising:
- 10-hydroxydecanoic acid; and
- at least one compound selected from the group consisting of N-{2-[4-(methylsulfanyl)phenyl]ethyl}-1-propanoyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-indole-2-carboxamide, N-[2-(4-ethylpiperazin-1-yl)ethyl]-1-propanoyl-2,3-dihydroindole-2-carboxamide, and
combination thereof,
wherein 10-hydroxydecanoic acid to at least one compound w/w ratio in said composition is in the range of 1:0.01-1:0.2.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein 10-hydroxydecanoic acid to at least one compound w/w ratio in said composition is in the range of 1:0.025-1:0.1.
3. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-2,wherein 10 -hydroxydecanoic acid to N-{2-[4-(methylsulfanyl)phenyl]ethyl}-1-propanoyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-indole-2-carboxamide; or 10 hydroxydecanoic acid to N-[2-(4-ethylpiperazin-1-yl)ethyl]-1-propanoyl-2,3-dihydroindole-2-carboxamide w/w ratio in said composition is 1:0.1.
4. A method of preparing a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-3.
5. A formulation for cosmetic inhibition of skin aging, said formulation comprising:
- 10-hydroxydecanoic acid;
- at least one compound selected from the group consisting of N-{2-[4-(methylsulfanyl)phenyl]ethyl}-1-propanoyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-indole-2-carboxamide, N-[2-(4-ethylpiperazin-1-yl)ethyl]-1-propanoyl-2,3-dihydroindole-2-carboxamide, and
combinations thereof; and
- suitable carriers, diluents, and excipients,
wherein 10-hydroxydecanoic acid to at least one compound w/w ratio in said composition is in the range of 1:0.01-1:0.2.
6. The formulation as claimed in claim 5, wherein 10-hydroxydecanoic acid to at least one compound w/w ratio in said formulation is in the range of 1:0.025-1:0.1.
7. The formulation as claimed in any of the claims 5-6, wherein 10 -hydroxydecanoic acid to N-{2-[4-(methylsulfanyl)phenyl]ethyl}-1-propanoyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-indole-2-carboxamide; or 10 hydroxydecanoic acid to N-[2-(4-ethylpiperazin-1-yl)ethyl]-1-propanoyl-2,3-dihydroindole-2-carboxamide w/w ratio in said formulation is 1:0.1.
8. A method of preparing a formulation as claimed in any of the claims 5-7.
9. A method of cosmetic inhibition of skin aging, said method comprising:
- obtaining a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-3; or a formulation as claimed in any of the claims 5-7; and
- contacting said composition or formulation with skin,
wherein said method cosmetically inhibits skin aging.
10. A composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-3; or a formulation as claimed in any of the claims 5-7 for use in topical application for cosmetic inhibition of skin aging.
