A Composition Comprising Hesperitin And Apigenin, And Uses Thereof
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to combination of hesperitin, and apigenin, which in particular w/w ratio range inhibits of DPP7 protein. DPP7 plays a role in retarding the growth of hair follicles, hence inhibiting DPP7 may provide for stimulating hair growth.

Claims:1. A composition comprising:
(a) hesperitin; and
(b) apigenin,
wherein hesperitin to apigenin w/w ratio in said composition is in the range of 1:1-9:1.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein hesperitin concentration in said composition in the range of 0.00025-0.00045%, and apigenin concentration in said composition in the range of 0.00005-0.00025
%.
3. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein hesperitin to apigenin w/w ratio in said composition is 4:1.
4. The composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein hesperitin concentration in said composition is 0.0004%, and apigenin concentration in said composition is 0.0001%.
5. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein hesperitin to apigenin w/w ratio in said composition is 1.5:1.
6. The composition as claimed in claim 5, wherein hesperitin concentration in said composition is 0.0003%, and apigenin concentration in said composition is 0.0002%.
7. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-6, further comprising suitable diluents, excipients, and carriers.
8. A method to prepare a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-7.
9. A method to promote hair growth, said method comprising:
(a) obtaining a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-7; and
(b) contacting said composition with hair follicles,
wherein said method promotes hair growth.
10. A composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-7 for use in preparing topical formulations to promote hair growth.
