A Device And Process To Manufacture Sacred Ash
This invention relates to an apparatus and method for producing a sacred ash, the apparatus, comprising a substantially cylindrical vessel (2) having atleast one grate opening (3) at a bottom segment, the top segment of the cylindrical vessel (2) being connected to a chimney (5), the bottom segment being fixedlysupported by atleast two legs (6) so as to maintain a predetermined ground clearance (8) optimlsingly the cylindrical vessel (2) provided with a plurality of circumferentially configured air aspiration holes (4) in a feed stock region (9), and a ceramic material (12) comprising one of a fire clay and an alumina refractory mass at an internal surface of the vessel (2) to act as a thermal insulation. The cylindrical vessel (2) is charged with alternate layers of selectedcow dung feed stock (7) and rice husk free from sand and contaminants on manual preparation cow dung lumps, followed by initial ignition by means of a burning cotton swab doused with oil or coke placed on top of the feed stock (7),wherein a diameter of the cylindrical vessel (2) and a critical feed stock height (9) is maintained at a ratio in the range of 0.1 to 0.075, and wherein a ratio between the critical feed stock height (9) and a free board height provided by the cylindrical vessel (2) is maintained at a ratio ranging between 0.6 and 1.33.
