Abstract: The device 10 comprises a horizontal bar 15 having a slot 16. The device 10 comprises at least one movable main column 18 and at least one adjustable supporting 5 column 20 positioned in the slot 16 of the horizontal bar 15. The device 10 comprises at least one puller component 22 fitted at a bottom portion of the at least one movable main column 18, such that, the at least one puller component 22 is locked to a portion of the injector 12 for pulling out from the engine 14 by applying a torque on the at least one main 10 column 18.

Specification

Claims:1. A device (10) for pulling at least one injector (12) from an engine (14), said
device (10) comprising :
- a horizontal bar (15) having a slot (16);
- at least one movable main column (18) and at least 5 one adjustable
supporting column (20) positioned in said slot (16) of said horizontal bar
(15);
- at least one puller component (22) fitted at a bottom portion of said at least
one movable main column (18) , such that, said at least one puller component
10 (22) is locked to a portion of said injector (12) for pulling out from said
engine (14) by applying a torque on said at least one main column (18).
2. The device (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said at least one supporting
column (20) comprises a vertical portion (24) fitted between a first screw (26)
15 and a second screw (28), said first screw (26) holds said vertical portion (24)
from said slot (16) of said horizontal bar (15) and said second screw (28) is made
detachable.
3. The device (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said at least one main column (18)
20 comprises a stud (30) positioned in said slot (16) of said horizontal bar (15), a
hexagonal collar (32) mounted on said stud (30) and a thrust bearing (34)
mounted below said hexagonal collar (32), in such a way that, said stud (30) can
be moved by applying said torque on said hexagonal collar (32) and said thrust
bearing (34) while pulling said injector (12) out from said engine (14).

4. The device (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said at least one puller component
(22) is chosen from a group of puller components comprising a first adaptor, a
bracket, a second adaptor and the like.
5. The device (10) as claimed in claim 4, wherein said first adaptor (36) is fitted at
said bottom portion of said stud (30), said first adaptor (36) comprises a first
portion(36(a)) made smaller than a second portion(36(b)).
6. The device (10) as claimed in claim 5, wherein said first portion 36(a) and said
second portion (36(b)) of said first adaptor (36) comprises an internal threaded
surfaces each, such that, said first portion (36(a)) is fitted to said stud (30) and
said second portion (36(b)) is fitted on a solenoid (42) of said injector (12) using
10 said threaded surfaces.
7. The device (10) as claimed in claim 4, wherein said bracket (38) is fitted at said
bottom portion of said stud (30), said bracket (38) comprises a flat component
(38(a)) having an opening and a threaded surface and a locking component
15 (38(b)).
8. The device (10) as claimed in claim 7, wherein said stud (30) of said at least one
main column (18) is fitted into said opening of said flat component (38(a)) and
20 said locking component (38(b)) is fitted on an external surface of said injector
(12) for pulling said injector (12) out of said engine (14).
9. The device (10) as claimed in claim 4, wherein said second adaptor (40) is fitted
at said bottom portion of said stud (30), said second adaptor (40) comprises a
25 first portion (40(a)) made larger than a second portion (40(b)).
10. The device (10) as claimed in claim 9 , wherein said first portion (40(a)) has an
internal threaded surface and said second portion (40(b)has an outer threaded
30 surface and said first portion (40(a)) is fitted to said stud (30) and said second
portion (40(b)) is fitted directly on said injector (12) using said threaded
surfaces. , Description:The device 10 comprises a horizontal bar 15 having a slot 16. The device 10 comprises
at least one movable main column 18 and at least one adjustable supporting 5 column 20
positioned in the slot 16 of the horizontal bar 15. The device 10 comprises at least one
puller component 22 fitted at a bottom portion of the at least one movable main column
18, such that, the at least one puller component 22 is locked to a portion of the injector
12 for pulling out from the engine 14 by applying a torque on the at least one main
10 column 18.
