The present disclosure relates to a multi-layered disposable diaper, and more particularly relates to the multi-layered disposable diaper for absorbing bodily fluids such as urine and the like.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Disposable diapers have been used since ages by babies and even adults in some cases. The diapers have to perform multiple functions to cater to the user's needs. However, over the years it has been observed that a majority of such diapers are inadequate in absorbing the bodily fluids such as urine etc. The inadequacy has been attributed to the inefficient absorbent core present in these disposable diapers.
[0003] The leakage of fluids is a prominent concern in such diapers where the leakage can occur around the waist, across the edges and from the leg openings as well. The positioning of the absorbent material in the centre of the diaper is a major factor for such leakage. It has also been observed that even after changing the structure of the absorbent material, there have been endless instances of rashes on the user's skin. Besides, such diapers are not too economical and tend to be expensive.
[0004] In some of the cases, distinct types of materials such as wood pulp, polyester, nonwoven fabrics and tissue paper have been used to eradicate the above-mentioned problems. However, in the long run, these materials have not been able to solve the problem of inefficient absorbent core which resulted in leakage of fluids, and rendering it uncomfortable as well as unhygienic for the user. There has also been evidence of usage of certain inorganic compositions for providing optimal solution to the above discussed problems such as providing enough absorption of the bodily fluids.

SUMMARY
[0006] One aspect of the present invention discloses a multi-layered disposable diaper. The multi-layered disposable diaper is utilized to absorb bodily liquids of a user such as urine and the like. The multi-layered disposable diaper is capable of absorbing the body liquids of the user effectively and efficiently. The multi-layered disposable diaper is an improved diaper that provides no feeling of discomfort to the user.
[0007] According to the present disclosure, the multi-layered disposable diaper for absorbing a liquid includes an outer layer, an intermediate layer and an innermost layer. The multi-layer disposable diaper includes the outer layer for preventing leakage of the liquid form one or more openings of the multi-layer disposable diaper. Further, the multi-layer disposable diaper includes the intermediate layer for absorbing the liquid. In addition, the intermediate layer of the multi-layer disposable diaper is made of one or more super absorbent materials that possess high absorption index. Furthermore, the multi-layer disposable diaper includes the innermost layer for providing comfort to the user.

CLAIMS
We Claim:

1. A multi-layer disposable diaper (100, 200) for absorbing a liquid, the multi-layer disposable
diaper (100, 200) comprising:
an outer layer (302) for preventing leakage of the liquid from one or more openings of the multi-layer disposable diaper;
an intermediate layer (304) for absorbing the liquid, wherein the intermediate layer (304) is made of one or more super absorbent materials that possess high absorption index; and
an innermost layer (308) for providing comfort to a user,
wherein the intermediate layer (304) is confined between the outer layer (302) and the innermost layer (308), and wherein the outer layer (302), the intermediate layer (304), and the innermost layer (308) are conjoined together using one or more means.
2. The multi-layer disposable diaper (100, 200) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more super absorbent materials include sodium polyacrylate, wood pulp fiber, poly-snow, and potassium polyacrylate.
3. The multi-layer disposable diaper (100, 200) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the innermost layer (308) includes an additional absorbent material on one or more margins to prevent leakage of the liquid.
4. The multi-layer disposable diaper (100, 200) as claimed in claim 3, wherein the additional absorbent material is the super absorbent material.
5. The multi-layer disposable diaper (100, 200) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the multi-layer disposable diaper (100, 200) includes one or more fasteners (208) to position the multi-layer disposable diaper (100, 200) with ease and comfortably around waist or lower abdomen of the user.
6. The multi-layer disposable diaper (100, 200) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the multi-layer disposable diaper (100, 200) is skin friendly.
7. The multi-layer disposable diaper (100, 200) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the multi-layer disposable diaper (100, 200) possesses antibacterial properties.
