A Down Rod Arrangement For A Ceiling Fan
Abstract: ABSTRACT Described herein is a down-rod arrangement [100] for a quick and easy installation of a ceiling fan [200] comprising a fan motor [108]. The down-rod arrangement [100] comprises a grommet [104] fixed on a ceiling hook of a room, a hollow down-rod member [106], a first and second pin and R-pin units [110,112]. Notably, the hollow down-rod member [106] comprises a first fork end portion [106a], an intermediate portion [106e], and a second cylindrical end portion [106b], such that the first fork end portion [106a] is fixedly attached to the grommet [104] by means of the first pin and R-pin unit [110], while the second cylindrical end portion [106b] is fixedly attached to the fan motor [108] by means of the second pin and R-pin unit [112].
