Abstract: Present disclosure relates to a heat sink (100). The heat sink (100) comprises a body (B). The body (B) may be defined with a first portion (110) and a second portion (120). Further, the first portion (110) may be made of a first material. Furthermore, the second portion (120) extends from the first portion (110). The second portion (120) may be made of a second material. Accordingly, the heat sink (100) of the present disclosure is light in weight and capable of dissipating heat from one or more components of the lamp (L) to the outside environment, thereby assists in effective performance of the lamp.
