A Highly Sensitive And Reliable Static Voltmeter

Abstract: A highly sensitive and reliable static voltmeter whose sample cup (2) comprises an oblong bodied container(3)defining a closed end (4)and an open end (5)and a cap (6)removably fitted at the open end of the container. The container and cap are made of an electrically insulating and scratch resistant material. The sample also comprises a pair of flat electrodes(9a,9b). One electrode 9a is stationary and fixed to a terminal (10a)which is turn is fixed in the closed end of the container. The other electrode (9b) is slidable and movably located on another terminal (10b)which is turn is fixed in the cap and spring (11)tensioned (Fig 2.).
