A Lock

Abstract: A LOCK 5 Present disclosure discloses a lock (100) for a battery case (200) of a vehicle. The lock includes a barrel (103) defined with a crown (101) at one end a threaded portion (107) defined below the crown. The barrel is configured to be accommodated in a lock hole (110) defined in a cover plate and adapted to move between a first position and a second position. The lock includes a locking unit (109) operable from a first end (F) and comprises a locking 10 lever (104) coupled to a second end (S) of the locking unit. The locking lever configured to operate between a locked state and an unlocked state to selectively secure the cover plate with a casing. Further, the lock includes a retention cap (102) threadingly engaged with the threaded portion of the barrel, and a resilient member (108) disposed between the retention cap and the cover plate and is configured apply biasing force on the cover plate. 15 FIG.1 is a representative figure.
