A Lock Operating Device For Vehicle

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a lock operating device (100) for a peripheral lock of a vehicle. The lock operating device (100) is configured to actuate the lock between the locked state and the unlocked state. The lock operating device (100) comprises a case (1), a lever (2), a resilient means (3, 5), a actuation mechanism (4), a cover (6), a cable (7), and a plurality of mounting screws (8). The actuation mechanism (4) is resiliently energized to tend to keep the actuator (4) at home position. The cable (7) is connected with the actuation mechanism (4). The lever (2) is operationally configured to the actuation mechanism (4). The disclosed lock operating device (100) may also be beneficial in case of an emergency such as when the electronic actuation mechanism malfunction due to battery drainage or electronic failure. In such cases, the lock operating device (100) manually overrides the mechanism.
