A Locking Device

Abstract: Present disclosure discloses a locking device (100). The locking device includes a cylinder (101) and a shaft (103) which extends from an end of the cylinder. Furthermore, the locking device includes a lever (104) which is coupled to the shaft. The lever includes a body (105) which is adapted to receive a head of an inner wire (107) of the cable (109) 10 and an outer covering of the cable abut against a support bracket (110). Further, the lever includes a groove (106) which is defined along at least a peripheral portion of the body and configured to accommodate a portion of the inner wire of the cable. The configuration aids in supporting the cable at different orientations of the cable with the locking device. Thus, the locking device may be adapted in components of different configurations.
