A Method And A System For Determining Fluid Flow Rate Of A Wellbore

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method (400) and system (300) for determining the fluid flow rate of a wellbore. The method (400) comprises receiving predefined values of one or more parameters defining the characteristics of the wellbore (402), generating a plurality of candidate fluid flow rates based on these predefined values and an iterative value of the productivity index of the wellbore (404), generating corresponding values of the one or more parameters for the plurality of candidate fluid flow rates (406), determining a level of similarity between each of the generated values and the received predefined values of the parameters (408), and selecting a fluid flow rate from the plurality of candidate fluid flow rates based on the similarity level satisfying a predefined threshold (410). This process ensures accurate determination of the fluid flow rate, optimizing wellbore performance. Figure 4 is the representative figure.
