A Method And A System For Securing Access To User Data During Phishing Detection

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and a system for securing access to user data during detection of phishing attacks in Short Message Service (SMS) communications. The method comprises detecting phishing text messages directed to one or more users associated with a first server. Further, the method comprises transmitting a Call Data Record (CDR) for the one or more phishing text messages and obtaining access tokens for the CDRs of the one or more phishing text messages from the second server. Furthermore, the method comprises transmitting text and hashed tokens of CDRs of the one or more phishing text messages to the first server for investigation. Subsequently, the method comprises receiving a CDR access request for accessing CDRS of a selected one or more phishing text messages from the first server and transmitting the CDR access tokens of the selected one or more phishing text messages to the first server to access the CDRs.
