A Profile Forming Machine

Abstract: The known technique takes more time, requires more man power, more Oxygen, Acetylene to be consumed and also increases operator fatigue. This can be resolved by using a more robust and sturdy hydraulic pressing machine for profile formation of angles and channels. They have a higher throughput and can make the desired form in a single go. However, since the hydraulic pistons with bed is developed to form channels and angles to the required profile. Hence, an innovative fixture has been proposed to facilitate forming of angles and channels in general fabrications and ducts fabrication. The fixture is simple, sturdy and more efficient than the traditional profile formation techniques. The invention relates to profile forming machine comprises of rotating plate (2) with former(3) fixed over a table(1) with shaft(9), wherein an adjustable locking plate(6) is placed adjacent to a supporting angle(7) and Initial locking mechanism(4) is positioned next to piston(5).
