Abstract: The invention discloses a smart container 10 for contactless shopping system 100. The smart container 10 comprises one or more doors 12 to close an opening of the smart container 10. A transceiver 14 receives a command from one ore one shopping mall resources such as a smart trolley 24. A controller selectively opens and closes the door 12 based on the command received by the transceiver 14.

Specification

Claims:1) A smart container (10) for contactless shopping system (100), said
smart container (10) comprises
? at least one door (12) to close an opening 5 of said smart
container (10);
? a transceiver (14) to receive a command from at least one
shopping mall resource (20); and
? a controller to selectively open and close said at least one
10 door (12) based on said command received by said
transceiver (14).
2) The smart container (10) as claimed in claim 1, stores at least one of
shopping item (16) such as vegetables, fruits, groceries, personal
care items, confectionaries, detergents, machine components,
articles, and goods.
3) The smart container (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said door
(12) is operated to control the release of said shopping item (16)
from said smart container (10).
4) The smart container (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said at least
20 one shopping mall resource (20) is one of a server, a central
shopping console (22), a shopping trolley (24), a shopping basket, a
POS terminal, a shopping computer, a portable device (26), and a
shopping application.
5) A contactless shopping system (100) comprising
25 ? at least one smart container (10) ;
? at least one shopping trolley (24) having a weighing scale
(25) and a first transceiver (28); characterized in said
contactless shopping system (100), said at least one smart
container (10) comprises
? a second transceiver (30) to receive a command from
said first transceiver (28) of said at least one shopping
5 trolley (24); and
? a controller selectively opens or closes at least one
door (12) of said at least one smart container (10)
based on said command received by said second
transceiver (30).
6) The contactless shopping system (100) as claimed in claim 5,
wherein said at least one door (12) is operated to selectively transfer
a shopping item (16) from said at least one smart container (10) to
said at least one shopping trolley (24).
7) The contactless shopping system (100) as claimed in claim 5,
15 wherein said first transceiver (28) sends a command to said second
transceiver (30) when said weighing scale indicates that required
quantity /weight of said shopping item (16) in said at least one
smart trolley (24) reaches a specific value.
8) The contactless shopping system (100) s claimed in claim 5, wherein
20 said at least one smart container (10), said at least one smart trolley
(24) and a central shopping console (22) through a network.
9) The contactless shopping system (100) as claimed in claim 5,
wherein said at least one shopping trolley (24) is at least one of a
wheeled trolley, a shopping basket, a shopping bag, etc.
10) The contactless shopping system (100) as claimed in claim 8,
wherein said central shopping console (22) receives a shopping
order from at least one of shopping web application, a shopping
device, a shopping mobile application, a voice application, a GUI,
etc.
11) A contactless shopping method, the method comprises the steps
of:-
a. receiving an order of shopping items (5 16) from a customer
(S1);
b. checking for the availability of said shopping items (16) in a
storage area (S2); characterized in that
? guiding a shopping trolley (24) to at least one
10 smart container (10) having shopping items (16)
requested by the customer;
? sending a command to a transceiver (30) of the
at least one smart container (10); and
? operating a door (12) of the at least one smart
15 container (10) selectively based on the command to
control the transfer of shopping items (16) from the
smart container (10) to the smart trolley (24).
12) The contactless shopping method as claimed in claim 11, wherein
guiding the shopping trolley (24) to the at least one smart container
20 (10) comprises at least one of an automatic guiding method, a
manual guiding method or an audio and/or visual guiding
method.
13) A contactless goods transfer system (400) comprising
? at least one smart container (10) ;
25 ? at least one trolley (24) having a weighing scale (25) and a
first transceiver (28); characterized in said contactless goods
transfer system (100), said at least one smart container (10)
comprises
? a second transceiver (30) to receive a command from
said first transceiver (28) of said at least one trolley
(24); and
? a controller selectively opens or closes at least one
door (12) of said at least one smart 5 container (10)
based on said command received by said second
transceiver (30).
14) The contactless goods transfer system (400) as claimed in claim 13,
wherein said at least one door (12) is operated to selectively transfer
10 goods (16) from said at least one smart container (10) to said at least
one trolley (24). , Description:The invention discloses a smart container 10 for contactless shopping
system 100. The smart container 10 comprises one or more doors 12 to close
an opening of the smart container 10. A transceiver 14 receives a command
from one ore one shopping mall resources such as a smart trolley 24. A
controller selectively opens and closes the door 12 based on the command
received by the transceiver 14.
