A Smart Temperature Sensor In A Fuel Injection Pump

Abstract: A fuel injection pump housing (100), is provided. The pump housing (100) includes a spring chamber (102) located at the bottom portion of the fuel injection pump housing (100). Further, the system (100) includes a cam room chamber (104) located near the camshaft of the pump housing (100). Furthermore, the system (100) includes a compensation bore (106) adapted to connect the spring chamber (102) to cam room chamber (104) during compression of the spring chamber (102). The pump housing (100) includes a temperature sensor (108) fitted at middle of said compensation bore (106), adapted to transmit the fuel temperature signals over a wireless network.

Specification

Claims:1. A fuel injection pump housing (100) comprising :
a spring chamber (102) located at the bottom portion of the fuel injection
pump housing (100);
a cam room chamber (104) located near the camshaft of the pump housing
(100);
a compensation bore (106) adapted to connect the spring chamber (102) to
cam room chamber (104) during compression of the spring chamber (102)
characterized in that:
- a temperature sensor (108) fitted at middle of said compensation bore
(106), adapted to transmit the fuel temperature signals over a wireless
network.
2. The fuel injection pump housing (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said
temperature sensor (108) is connected with a wireless module (200)
adapted to transmit the measured temperature signals to a cloud platform
over a communication network.
3. The fuel injection pump housing (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the
wireless module (200) includes a Bluetooth module.
4. The fuel injection pump housing (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the
temperature sensor (108) is battery operated. , Description:A fuel injection pump housing (100), is provided. The pump housing (100) includes a
spring chamber (102) located at the bottom portion of the fuel injection pump housing
(100). Further, the system (100) includes a cam room chamber (104) located near the
camshaft of the pump housing (100). Furthermore, the system (100) includes a
compensation bore (106) adapted to connect the spring chamber (102) to cam room
chamber (104) during compression of the spring chamber (102). The pump housing
(100) includes a temperature sensor (108) fitted at middle of said compensation bore
(106), adapted to transmit the fuel temperature signals over a wireless network.
