DESC:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to a system, a method and a device for project and finance management.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[002] The real-estate industry is nationally important in terms of economic value and social concern. In addition to involving a significant portion of national productivity, the real-estate industry is responsible for building facilities and infrastructure to enable productivity. The efficiency and forthrightness with which the real-estate industry operates can have far reaching impact on the economic well being of and quality of life of many people.
[003] Risk related to the real-estate industry is subject to circumstances and developments involving any of these entities or interactions. Being kept apprised of the many details necessary to make informed decisions is a difficult task for the management in the real-estate industry. In order to overcome these difficulties, the use of computer software, hardware and networking technologies in the management of financial services has also expanded in recent years. In particular, project service firms are continuing to integrate these technologies into their businesses in order to provide an automated approach for personal asset and wealth management and to improve their efficiency in providing financial advice and other services to their clients.
[004] Another difficulty faced in the real estate industry is the amount of information required to evaluate a significant risk that may occur due to some entity. However, currently there is no such mechanism available which can provide real time assistance to assess one or more risk variables associated with the real estate industry, or otherwise qualitatively manage such risk.
[005] In fact, there are many sources of information that may be made available to members of the industry, however, these sources are not well integrated, nor are they organized so as to provide a comprehensive tool risk management. Therefore, there are many industries that have not benefited from such technical advances.
[006] That said, the technology underlying information gathering has drastically advanced within the past decade. In the fields of project, finance and risk management, there are currently no systems in place today that provide all of the necessary information, services and tools necessary for the insurance industry. Even if it is believed that there are systems currently working to solve this problem, the current products available to the industry suffer from low service quality, low client workspace enhancements, no standardization and no automation.
[007] In order to overcome the aforesaid drawbacks, the prior art US 7873557 B2 discloses a method and a system for integrating and managing information, documents, and compliance among financial professionals, financial professional clients, and financial professional supervisors. The method and system of the invention considers all information necessary for a financial professional to run their business and includes information relevant to the client and supervisor. This information includes full information management, electronic file management, compliance management, broker/dealer oversight, portfolio management, calendar management, and communications management. This information is presented to the financial professional, client, and supervisor in distinct yet integrated modules. Additionally, the method and system of the present invention offers tools for the financial professional, client, and supervisor that are relevant to their respective needs.
[008] Since some projects require customized inputs from the user based on select real estate projects, prior art US 20160239919 A1 discloses an automated computer program product and system for using artificial intelligence based cognitive learning methods to create a custom risk transfer program for one or more organizations on a continual basis. The elements of value, external factors and segments of value of the one or more organizations are analyzed and modeled using predictive models that are developed by learning from the data associated with each of the organizations. Scenarios of both normal and extreme situations are also developed by learning from the data. The scenarios are then used to drive simulations of the predictive models. The outputs from these simulations are then used to calculate a risk by element of value, external factor and segment of value for each organization. A custom risk transfer program that optimizes financial performance for each of the organizations given the quantified value and risk is then identified and presented.
[009] In order to specifically deal with the drawbacks of the construction industry, the prior art US7548883B2 discloses systems, methods, apparatus, computer program code and means for gathering, organizing and presenting on a real time basis information pertinent to risks associated with subjects related to the construction industry. Risks associated with the construction industry can be managed by gathering data relevant to the construction industry from multiple sources and aggregating the gathered data according to one or more risk variables. An inquiry relating to a risk subject can be received and portions of the aggregated data can be associated with the risk subject. The associated portions of the aggregated data can be transmitted to an entity placing the inquiry or other designated destination.
[0010] Yet another prior art US8762178B2 provides information on risks and related hedging strategies. It discloses that A plurality of client terminals are coupled to the system, for providing access to the system for accessing information on risks and related hedging strategies. A data aggregation module is configured to store financial and risk related information from a plurality of data sources, including private client data sources and public data sources. An analytical module is coupled to the data aggregation module, and configured to perform benchmarking estimates based on information retrieved from the private client data sources and the public data sources. The benchmarking estimates are performed against the private data and the public data obtained from a plurality of industries.
[0011] The existing project management and risk management models are centric to fulfil project based needs. However, none of the prior art aims at providing a system, a method and/or a device that not only prepare and maintain integrated records of financial transactions, records of client management, records of project management and records related to various legal compliances, but also provides recommendations on the implementation of budgetary control system on the bases of the project advancement.
