A System For Sorting Products, And A Method Thereof

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and a method for sorting products for delivery. The system comprises a main control unit [102], a profiling unit [104], a conveyor unit [106], and a sorting unit [108]. The profiling unit [104] measures parameters of each product . The conveyor unit [106] receives product(s) from profiling unit [104] and conveys product(s) to the sorting unit [108]. The sorting unit [108] comprises a sorting bucket [1082], a drag chain unit [1084], and linear actuators [1086] for moving the sorting bucket [1082]. The sorting bucket [1082] moves along the linear actuator [1086] and drops the product(s) in one of the collection bins [114] based on a sorting information. Also, the sorting bucket [1082] comprises a right flap [308] and a left flap [306] that are being connected to an opening actuator mechanism [312, 314]. [FIG. 2]
