“A Tapper Lock Mechanism For A Vehicle Handlebar”

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a handlebar switch assembly (20) for a vehicle. The handlebar switch assembly (20) comprises a case upper assembly (21) and a case lower assembly (22). The case upper assembly (21) comprises a case upper (23) and an upper sidewall (25). The case lower assembly (22) comprises a case lower (24) and a lower sidewall (26). A tapper lock mechanism (27) is disclosed which provides a protrusion (28) and a groove (29) to connect the case upper assembly (21) and the case lower assembly (22) on a handlebar (30). The handlebar switch assembly (20) is mounted on the handlebar (30) of the vehicle by using the mounting screws (31). The tapper lock mechanism (27) of the present disclosure provides bidirectional support to the deflected wall of the case upper (23) and the case lower (24).
