A Transparent Hand Dish Wash Composition, And Applications Thereof

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a transparent hand dish-wash composition comprising: (a) at least one anionic surfactant; (b) at least one amphoteric surfactant; and (c) at least one buffer system, wherein the at least one anionic surfactant to the at least one amphoteric surfactant weight ratio is in the range of 50:1 - 70:1. A process of preparation of the same is also disclosed.

Specification

I/We Claim:
1) A transparent hand dish-wash composition comprising:
(a) at least one anionic surfactant;
(b) at least one amphoteric surfactant; and
(c) at least one buffer system,
wherein the at least one anionic surfactant to the at least one amphoteric surfactant weight ratio is in the range of 50:1 - 70:1.
2) The transparent hand dish-wash composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one anionic surfactant to the at least one buffer system weight ratio is in the range of 15:1 -25:1.
3) The transparent hand dish-wash composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one anionic surfactant is selected from the group consisting of linear alkyl benzene sulphonic acid (LABSA), alpha olefin sulphonate (AOS), and sodium lauryl ether sulphate (SLES), and combinations thereof.
4) The transparent hand dish-wash composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one anionic surfactant is a combination of linear alkyl benzene sulphonic acid (LABSA), alpha olefin sulphonate (AOS), and sodium lauryl ether sulphate (SLES).
5) The transparent hand dish-wash composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein linear alkyl benzene sulphonic acid (LABSA) to the combination of alpha olefin sulphonate, and sodium lauryl ether sulphate (AOS+SLES) weight ratio is in a range of 5:2 to 5:3.
6) The transparent hand dish-wash composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one amphoteric surfactant is cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB).
7) The transparent hand dish-wash composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one buffer system comprises at least one electrolyte and at least one booster.

8) The transparent hand dish-wash composition as claimed in claim 8, wherein the at least one electrolyte is sodium chloride.
9) The transparent hand dish-wash composition as claimed in claim 8, wherein the at least one booster is selected from the group consisting of trisodium citrate, disodium citrate, and combinations thereof.
10) The transparent hand dish-wash composition as claimed in claim 8, wherein the electrolyte to the booster weight ratio is in a range of 4:1 - 2 :1.
11) The transparent hand dish-wash composition as claimed in claim 1, further comprises at least one excipient selected from the group consisting of neutralizing agent, antioxidant, and combinations thereof.
12) A process of preparing the transparent hand dish-wash composition as claimed in claim 1, the process comprising:

(a) obtaining at least one anionic surfactant;
(b) obtaining at least one amphoteric surfactant;
(c) obtaining at least one buffer system; and
(d) contacting the at least one anionic surfactant, the at least one amphoteric surfactant, and the at least one buffer system, to obtain the transparent hand dish-wash composition.
13) A process of preparing the transparent hand dish-wash composition as claimed
in claim 10, the process comprising:
(a) obtaining at least one anionic surfactant;
(b) obtaining at least one amphoteric surfactant;
(c) obtaining at least one buffer system;
(d) obtaining at least one excipient; and
(e) contacting the at least one anionic surfactant, the at least one amphoteric

surfactant, the at least one buffer system, and at least one excipient to obtain the transparent hand dish-wash composition.
